
The fourth command-and-staff “NATO-Georgia Exercise 2025” has successfully concluded at the NATO-Georgia Joint Training and Evaluation Centre (JTEC), according to a statement by Georgia’s Ministry of Defence.
At the closing ceremony, Colonel David Gagua, the exercise commander and head of JTEC, expressed his gratitude to all participants and awarded commemorative plaques in recognition of their contributions.
This year’s exercise featured a field component showcasing JTEC’s command-and-control capabilities and fostering greater operational coordination. The exercise incorporated six core initiatives under the Substantial NATO-Georgia Package (SNGP), including:

NATO experts closely observed Georgian Defence Forces units to assess their alignment with NATO standards, reinforcing ongoing efforts to deepen interoperability.
Planned by NATO’s Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe (SHAPE) and the General Staff of the Georgian Defence Forces, the exercise followed NATO-standard scenarios, procedures, and doctrines.
The multinational event brought together participants from 17 NATO member and partner countries, along with representatives from international organisations and units, reflecting a robust and unified approach to regional and global security.
