
Georgia’s export performance surged in June 2025, with a remarkable 10.3% year-on-year increase, reaching USD 639.7 million, according to the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development.
Cumulatively, exports in the first half of the year climbed by an impressive 13.7%, setting a new record of USD 3.2 billion.
Imports saw modest growth in June, rising by 0.9% to USD 1.4 billion. For the January–June period, imports totaled USD 8.7 billion, marking a 12.4% increase compared to the same period last year.
Trade turnover in June stood at USD 2.0 billion—up 3.7% year-on-year. Over the first six months of 2025, total trade turnover reached a historic USD 11.9 billion, representing a 12.7% rise and setting a new national record.
The ministry highlighted that 2024 had already been a landmark year, with exports reaching USD 6.6 billion (a 7.8% increase) and overall trade turnover hitting USD 23.4 billion—up by 8.1% from the previous year.
