During a working visit to Japan, a delegation from Kutaisi International University (KIU) signed a trilateral cooperation memorandum with Tokai University, marking a new stage in academic and scientific collaboration between Georgia and Japan.
The agreement aims to foster partnerships between researchers and higher education institutions, promote student and academic staff exchange programmes, and advance innovative educational initiatives.
The memorandum was signed by Paata Turava, Acting Rector of Kutaisi International University; Vakhtang Tsagareli, Director of the KIU Campus Therapy Centre; and Yoshitaka Kajita, Vice Rector of Tokai University. The signing ceremony was attended by Teimuraz Lezhava, Georgia’s Ambassador Plenipotentiary to Japan, who congratulated the parties and wished them success in achieving their shared goals.
