The Georgian National Tourism Administration reported that in 2024, the country recorded 438,414 international visits from the European Union and the United Kingdom, reflecting a 3.8 percent increase compared to the same period in 2023.
Germany led the list of EU countries with 78,644 visits, marking a year-on-year growth of 14.3 percent. The United Kingdom followed with 32,372 visits, showing a 5.3 percent increase. Additionally, France registered 28,302 visits, reflecting a 20.2 percent rise, while Greece saw 27,557 visits, representing a 21.3 percent increase.
Italy also experienced a notable increase, with 19,895 visits, surpassing 2023 figures by 24.6 percent. The Netherlands recorded 18,759 visits, demonstrating a 26.7 percent growth compared to the previous year. Spain recorded the lowest number in the group, with 14,735 visits, marking a 13.8 percent increase from 2023.
