
In the second quarter of 2025, Georgia welcomed 1.8 million international non-resident travelers, marking a 6.9% increase compared to the same period in 2024. Most visitors (44.2%) were in the 31–50 age group.
Out of the total arrivals, 1.6 million visits were made by international travelers—a 7.0% year-on-year increase. The number of international visitors reached 1.4 million, up 8.1%, with 1.3 million classified as tourist-type visits—an increase of 10.7% from Q2 2024.
Tourists made up 80.1% of international visitors, 15.8% were day-trippers (excursionists), and 4.2% combined both types of travel.

The average length of stay was 5.3 nights, up 4.7% from the previous year, and 78.1% of visits were repeat trips. Women accounted for 41.8% of total visitors.
Total tourism spending reached 3.5 billion GEL, a slight 0.6% increase from Q2 2024, although the average spending per visit declined by 6.0%, to 2,116.8 GEL.
