Galt & Taggart published its 2023 tourism estimate, according to the organization, in November 2023, Georgia received $274 million in revenue from international tourist visits, which is 20.9% more than the indicator recorded in the same period last year.
Accordingly, Georgia received $3.9 billion in earnings from the tourism sector in the 11 months of 2023, which is 22.4% more than the figure recorded in the same period of the previous year. As a whole, in 2023, the volume of estimated expenses was $4.2 billion (a 19%-increase).
The National Tourism Administration of Georgia has not yet published the report of the third quarter of 2023.
By 2024, Galt & Taggart predicts $4.5 billion in tourism revenue.
