The increase in the production and export of competitive Georgian agri-food products is the result of a consistent state policy. The existing state programs, including financial and technical support, are tailored to all the needs that ensure the ever-increasing dynamics of production and sale of products. Consequently, the negative trade balance is decreasing. In the agri-food sector, in 2021, compared to 2012, the trade deficit was reduced by 72%.
