Other companies have also shown interest in Georgian bread, and exports to Israel will definitely continue, according to Malkhaz Dolidze, chairman of the Georgian Bread Manufacturers' Union. He told BusinessPressNews that demand for Georgian bread is high—especially for the “Ifkli Digomi” product, which was first exported in the first half of this year.
“Another shipment of Georgian bread to Israel is planned, and the product has been very well received. So far, 35,000 pieces have been sent in three batches, with more on the way. There is strong demand, and we will certainly continue cooperation,” Dolidze said.
He added that another country—representing a large market—has also expressed interest. “We will have news on this starting in January,” he noted.
