,,The government delegation of Uzbekistan will pay an official visit to Tbilisi on December 5," - the National Tourism Administration of Georgia stated.
The delegation includes: Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, Ambassador Plenipotentiary of Uzbekistan, Head of the Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, Head of the Department of Tourism of Uzbekistan and representatives of other diplomatic corps.
The delegation will be officially hosted by the largest Georgian tourist company Check-in Travel.
A memorandum of cooperation will be officially signed between Check-in Travel General Director Ia Gedavanishvili and Ambassador Plenipotentiary of Uzbekistan Bahrom Ashrafkhanov at the Biltmore Hotel. The memorandum refers to the support and development of close economic, tourist and social relations between the republics of Georgia and Uzbekistan.
With joint efforts, Georgia and Uzbekistan should become the main players on the Silk Road. It should be noted here that during the 2023 tourist season, Check-in Travel hosted 33 direct charter flights from the Republic of Uzbekistan, which is an unprecedented number in the country's history. The Check-in Group company was officially named as the main host organization of Uzbekistan, which makes the greatest contribution to the country's economy.
