
Georgia’s Consumer Price Index (CPI) rose by 0.4% in November 2025 compared to October, while annual inflation reached 4.8%. Core inflation stood at 2.6% (and 2.3% excluding tobacco).
Monthly inflation drivers:
Food and non-alcoholic beverages (+0.9%) contributed 0.34 ppts, with notable increases in oils and fats, vegetables, bread and cereals, fish, dairy products, and meat. Prices declined for fruit and grapes, and confectionery.
Miscellaneous goods and services (+1.8%) added 0.09 ppts, driven by higher personal care and personal effects prices.
Furnishings and household equipment (+0.9%) contributed 0.05 ppts, with increases in household maintenance goods, textiles, and furniture, while appliance prices fell.
Transport (-0.4%) reduced the index by 0.05 ppts, due to lower transport service costs and cheaper operation of personal vehicles.
Annual inflation contributors:
Food and non-alcoholic beverages (+10.3%) remained the key driver, contributing 3.48 ppts, with strong increases across fruit, fish, oils, cereals, beverages, dairy, and meat.
Health services (+8.0%), including outpatient and hospital services, added 0.66 ppts.
Alcoholic beverages and tobacco (+4.4%) contributed 0.28 ppts, with tobacco prices up 7%.
