At the opening ceremony of the Paragraph Gold & Spa Tabori hotel on October 1, Georgian Parliament Speaker Shalva Papuashvili reflected on the 13th anniversary of a pivotal political transformation in Georgia.
“Thirteen years ago today, Georgia broke free from a regime that rejected its national identity and served the interests of others,” Papuashvili stated. He credited Bidzina Ivanishvili with playing a decisive role at that time, paving the way for a state founded on national interests and a commitment to its people.
“Over these years, despite both internal and external challenges, we have worked with dedication, love for our country, and a strong sense of purpose to build such a state,” he said. “Our success is visible—and it is being recognized.”
Speaking from a location rich in Georgian history and past struggles, Papuashvili emphasized the ongoing mission of preserving peace and prosperity as part of the broader goal of nation-building.
“This magnificent complex stands as a symbol of the policies we are implementing—a reflection of Georgia’s resilience, unity, and transformation,” he concluded.
