
Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze will embark on an official visit to Hungary on June 11–12, where he is scheduled to meet with senior Hungarian leaders and participate in the second session of the Georgia–Hungary Intergovernmental Commission.
According to a statement from the Georgian government administration, an official welcoming ceremony will take place at the Hungarian Prime Minister’s Palace on June 11. Prime Minister Kobakhidze will be received by Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán for a face-to-face meeting, followed by broader bilateral negotiations involving ministerial delegations from both countries.
A key highlight of the visit will be the intergovernmental commission session in Budapest, during which Georgia and Hungary are set to sign several cooperation agreements in the areas of agriculture, energy, culture, innovation, and sports.
Following the commission meeting, Prime Ministers Kobakhidze and Orbán will hold a joint press conference.
During his visit, the Georgian Prime Minister is also expected to meet with the President of Hungary and the Speaker of the Hungarian National Assembly, further reinforcing high-level diplomatic ties between the two countries.
