The National Tourism Administration of Georgia said it had hosted more than 350 foreign journalists and tour operators this year in order to promote the country as a visitor destination.
The Administration said influential media outlets such as The Guardian, Forbes, The Financial Times, Elle, The Times, Marie-Claire, National Geographic, Saveur, Vogue, The Sunday Times, The Huffington Post, Sueddeutsche Zeitung and others had promoted Georgia through articles, blogs, reports and videos.
,,Millions of readers, users of social networks and TV viewers all over the world were introduced to hundreds of articles and stories about Georgia," - the Administration noted.
The Administration added it had also organized 67 information tours and 13 familiarization tours this year.
