As part of his visit to Azerbaijan, Minister of Environment Protection and Agriculture, David Songulashvili, attended the international agricultural exhibition, CASPIAN AGRO 2025. During the event, the Minister visited the Georgian National Pavilion, where he met with local producers and explored the range of products they were showcasing.
In his meeting with Georgian entrepreneurs participating in the exhibition, Songulashvili emphasized the significance of maintaining high-quality standards for Georgian products, which in turn enhances their export potential.
"Participation in exhibitions of this scale is crucial for promoting Georgian agricultural products internationally. It provides us with the opportunity to introduce our country's potential to a broader audience and expand export opportunities. With the financial and organizational support from the state, Georgian entrepreneurs can represent themselves with pride and use a platform like CASPIAN AGRO to forge valuable trade and economic partnerships," said Songulashvili.
The exhibition featured products from companies benefiting from state programs, including wine, canned goods, natural juices, confectionery, dried fruits, and organic juices, all displayed at the Georgian pavilion.
CASPIAN AGRO, which typically attracts over 15,000 visitors from 25 countries, opened on May 13 and will run through May 16.
Alongside Minister Songulashvili, the exhibition was attended by Deputy Minister Lasha Dolidze, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia Zurab Pataradze, and Director of the Rural Development Agency, Giorgi Darchia.
