During the meeting with Hulusi Akar, the sides discussed the security policy of the region and the directions of bilateral cooperation. Talks focused on the importance of participating in multinational military exercises in Turkey and Georgia. The Defense Minister of Georgia stressed the expert and material and technical support received from Turkey within the framework of many years of strategic cooperation, which played an important role in the development of the Defense Forces. 

Juansher Burchuladze thanked Hulusi Akar for his personal contribution made to the strategic partnership and close bilateral relations between the two countries.

Within the framework of the Tripartite Defense Ministerial, Juansher Burchuladze has already met with his Azerbaijani counterpart, Colonel-General Zakir Hasanov.
