
Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze met with Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán in Budapest as part of his official visit to Hungary.
According to the Georgian Prime Minister’s press service, the two leaders engaged in a face-to-face discussion focused on strengthening bilateral and multilateral cooperation. They underscored the significance of the intergovernmental commission format as a platform for enhancing collaboration across multiple sectors.
During the meeting, Kobakhidze and Orbán reaffirmed the strong political relationship between Georgia and Hungary and explored opportunities to further expand trade and economic relations.
The conversation also emphasized the vital importance of maintaining peace and stability in the region.
Prime Minister Kobakhidze expressed gratitude to Hungary for its steadfast support of Georgia’s sovereignty, territorial integrity, and aspirations for European integration.
