Georgian Parliament Speaker Shalva Papuashvili met with a delegation from the Armenian National Assembly’s Foreign Relations Committee, highlighting strong cooperation between the two legislatures. Papuashvili noted that global geopolitical shifts are creating new opportunities for peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan.
Committee Chairman Sargis Khandanyan praised the joint committee format as an effective platform for addressing bilateral relations and regional issues. He outlined Armenia’s foreign policy priorities, stressing the value of regional cooperation and good-neighbourly relations.
The sides discussed the situation in the South Caucasus and prospects for durable peace.
