Among the three airports, Shota Rustaveli Tbilisi International Airport was the busiest, handling over 4,750,830 passengers. The airport also facilitated 22,715 flights, marking a significant 29% increase in passenger traffic and a 30% rise in the number of flights compared to the previous year.

Batumi International Airport, on the other hand, achieved a remarkable 53% increase in passenger traffic, reaching a historic milestone of 951,760 passengers, alongside a 33% rise in flight numbers.
In a positive development for Georgian aviation, British Airways will begin operating in the Georgian market in March 2025, providing passengers with a new travel option. Additionally, EasyJet, a well-known low-cost carrier, will launch regular direct flights from London, Geneva, and Milan to Georgia in March 2025.
Further expanding its network, Transavia France will commence a Paris-Tbilisi-Paris route on April 9, 2025, and Edelweiss, a Zurich-based airline, will initiate flights between Zurich and Tbilisi twice a week starting on April 12, 2025.
The United Airports of Georgia is also actively negotiating with other airlines to increase the number of flights and expand connectivity through its three airports.
