
Georgian Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Mariam Kvrivishvili met with Acting U.S. Ambassador to Georgia Alan Purcell to discuss strengthening bilateral cooperation, the Ministry of Economy announced.
The meeting focused on revitalizing the U.S.-Georgia strategic partnership. The Georgian side expressed a clear interest in “resetting relations with the U.S. and restoring strategic cooperation.”
Kvrivishvili emphasized the importance of maintaining regional peace and security, highlighting U.S.-led peace efforts in the South Caucasus, including the Armenia-Azerbaijan peace agreement brokered during the Trump administration. She noted that such initiatives have opened new paths for development in the region.
