
The National Center for Education Quality Development of the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia will host the annual international forum of the members of the European Network for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (ENQA) in 2023. According to the Ministry, the Governing Board of ENQA made this decision based on the successful operation of the National Center for Education Quality Development.
Reportedly, the annual international forum will touch upon the current issues and trends related to the policy and quality assurance in higher education in the European area. It will involve the heads of 55 quality assurance agencies from 32 European countries. In addition, the staff of the agencies, the heads and representatives of the European Quality Assurance Register for Higher Education - EQAR, the European University Association, the European Students’ Union and the Bologna Working Group.
The Ministry stated that the decision to hold an international forum in Georgia is another confirmation that the recent changes made by the National Center for Education Quality Development are in full compliance with common European standards and approaches.
