Georgia’s Minister of Sports, Shalva Gogoladze, met with Hassan bin Ahmed Al‑Mutawa, the Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Georgia, to explore ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation in sports. The meeting also included First Deputy Minister Irakli Medzmariashvili.

Both sides discussed potential collaborations ranging from youth programs and athlete exchanges to hosting joint sporting events and developing training facilities. The aim is to deepen sports ties between Georgia and Qatar, creating opportunities for mutual growth and shared achievement.
