
According to the Ukrainian Post "Ukrposhta", as of April 20, the Georgian Post still ranks 1st with more than 520 tons of cargo received by post in the amount of basic humanitarian cargo (food, primary medicine, clothes).
The Georgian Post reported that Georgia is also among the 14 countries that allow individuals and legal entities to send free postal items (parcels) to Ukraine to their preferred recipients. Georgia is followed by Romania with more than 80 tons of humanitarian cargo, then Belgium with 80 tons, etc. It is important to note that humanitarian cargo does not include technological, construction and other humanitarian cargo supplied by other countries.
Delivery of humanitarian cargo to Ukraine was logistically provided by the Georgian Post in cooperation with the Ukrainian Post. At the same time, the Georgian Post launched a campaign and as a sign of solidarity with the Ukrainian people, by the decision of the Georgian government, sends free postal items from individuals for humanitarian purposes to Ukraine. The employees of the Georgian Post, as a sign of solidarity, sent humanitarian parcels to the employees of the Ukrainian State Post "Ukrposhta".
