Mariam Kvrivishvili, Georgia’s Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development, held a high-level meeting with representatives of leading international companies in the remote business services and process outsourcing (BPO) sector. The industry leaders are visiting Tbilisi at the invitation of the Entrepreneur Georgia agency.
Also present at the meeting were Deputy Minister Irakli Nadareishvili and Entrepreneur Georgia Director Mikheil Khidureli.
Minister Kvrivishvili highlighted Georgia’s strong investment policies and positive economic performance, emphasizing the country’s emergence as a regional hub for remote business services. She noted that Georgia now hosts operations from the world's top five BPO companies, which serve global brands, create thousands of jobs, and uphold international quality standards.
“Our goal is to attract foreign investments across both traditional and emerging sectors. One such sector, which has developed from scratch in recent years, is Business Process Outsourcing. We’ve brought in major global players in a short time, resulting in thousands of new jobs and exported services,” said Deputy Minister Nadareishvili.
He also pointed out that Georgia's IT sector is growing in parallel, with the government successfully attracting major international tech firms and creating tens of thousands of high-skilled, well-paying jobs.
“This meeting with top BPO executives allows them to better understand Georgia’s business environment and the specific advantages the country offers to global industry leaders,” Nadareishvili added.
As part of the visit, Entrepreneur Georgia organized a summit attended by around 20 representatives from top international remote service companies. During the event, Director Mikheil Khidureli presented Georgia’s investment advantages and business opportunities, reinforcing the country’s growing reputation as a strategic hub for innovation and global business growth.
