
International travel receipts in Georgia reached an all-time high of $1.971 billion in the first half of 2025, marking a 3.8% increase compared to the same period last year, according to the National Tourism Administration.
Compared to pre-pandemic levels, tourism revenues from January to June 2025 were 35.4% higher than in 2019.
In the second quarter alone, Georgia generated $1.145 billion in international travel receipts—a 5.0% year-on-year increase and a new quarterly record.
Strong growth was seen in several key markets during the first half of the year:

Israel: Up $66.4 million (37.9%) to $241.9 million

EU & UK: Up $30.7 million (12.5%) to $277.0 million

Azerbaijan: Up $24.1 million (30.7%) to $102.6 million

Saudi Arabia: Up $6.2 million (3.7%) to $173.6 million

Armenia: Up $1.8 million (2.8%) to $66.0 million
“The first half of 2025 marked a historic high in international travel receipts, highlighting Georgia’s growing appeal as a tourist destination,” the Tourism Administration said in a statement.
