In 2025, Georgia recorded a significant rise in agri-food exports, with several key products showing strong year-on-year growth, according to the Ministry of Environment and Agriculture.
One of the most remarkable increases came from potato exports, which grew by $25.7 million—a staggering 29-fold increase compared to the same period in 2024.
Other agri-food products also showed notable export gains:
Soft drinks: Up by $21.5 million (23% increase)
Processed nuts and pistachios: Increased by $18.8 million (67%)
Other nuts (mainly almonds): Rose by $18.6 million (46%)
Blackberries: Gained $17.6 million (63% growth)
Seeds (primarily apples): Increased by $6.2 million, marking a 4.5-fold rise
The Ministry emphasized that the sharp rise in exports reflects both improved production capacity and growing international demand for Georgian agricultural products.
