
According to preliminary data, fruit production in Georgia reached 243.6 thousand tons in 2024, marking a 25.2% increase compared to the previous year.
Breaking down by category:

Pome fruits (such as apples and pears) led the growth, with 89.7 thousand tons produced, up 46.8% year-on-year.

In addition, grape production surged to 321.5 thousand tons, representing a 45.7% increase compared to 2023, reinforcing the importance of viticulture to the country’s agricultural sector.
Despite a decline in citrus output, the overall data highlights a strong performance in Georgia’s fruit and grape production in 2024, suggesting improved yields and favorable growing conditions across most categories.
