
Georgia’s foreign trade turnover reached a record $14.15 billion USD in January–July 2025, marking a 10.3% increase compared to the same period in 2024, according to the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development.
Both exports and imports saw notable growth:

Exports rose by 8.9%, reaching a historic high of $3.84 billion USD.

Imports increased by 10.8%, amounting to $10.31 billion USD over the same period.
While overall imports grew, July 2025 recorded a 6.7% monthly decline, with import volumes totaling $1.46 billion USD.
The total trade turnover for July 2025 stood at $2.07 billion USD.
The ministry emphasized that both exports and total trade turnover reached all-time highs in the first seven months of 2025, continuing the strong upward trend observed in 2024.
For context, in 2024, Georgia posted:
