
In the first quarter of 2025, Georgia recorded 1.3 million international non-resident arrivals, marking a 1.1% increase compared to the same period in 2024, according to the National Statistics Office of Georgia (GeoStat).
Of these, 1.2 million visits were made by international visitors, a 1.3% year-on-year rise, while the number of unique international visitors reached 970,500, also up by 1.3%. The vast majority—958,900 visits (2.2% increase)—were classified as tourist-type visits, with 82.6% being tourists, 13.7% excursionists, and 3.7% combining both activities.
