
“Exports increased by 26% amounting to $411 million,” - the Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Gharibashvili said at a government meeting.
The Prime Minister noted that there is a significant increase in the direction of tourism, particularly: in March, travel revenues amounted to $175 million, which means a 70% tourism recovery compared to 2019.
"In terms of foreign trade, the growth rate remains high. Exports increased by 26% amounting to $411 million. Also, I would like to say that the revenues received from tourism are growing, we have a very significant growth in this direction as well. The revenues received from travel in January-March totaled nearly $400 million. I will also reiterate that we have a double-digit economic growth and, of course, all this needs to be maintained," - the Prime Minister said.
