
Georgia is among the 50 best countries with a Positive Peace Index (PPI), based on the 2024 Positive Peace Report published by the Institute for Economics and Peace.
Georgia ranks 49th in the report, having improved the rating by 6 scores compared to the last report. It holds the high rate as being the state of positive peace.
In the world ranking of positive peace, Georgia is ahead of all neighbouring countries, and among the post-Soviet countries, it is fourth after the Baltic countries.
The Positive Peace Index (PPI) measures the level of societal resilience of 163 countries, covering 99.7 per cent of the world’s population. The PPI is the most comprehensive global, quantitative approach to defining and measuring the factors that create peaceful societies.
