
The Georgian government has decided to extend socio-economic and medical assistance for Ukrainians affected by the war and currently residing in Georgia until April 1, 2026.
According to an order signed by Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze, Ukrainian families will continue to receive monthly assistance of GEL 300, while single individuals will be provided GEL 45. The Social Service Agency will distribute the aid based on lists submitted by the IDPs, Eco-Migrants and Livelihood Agency (LEPL).
Starting next month, financial assistance will be suspended for Ukrainians who have left Georgian territory.
In addition, the government has extended access to medical services for Ukrainians affected by military hostilities through April 1, 2026. The Ministry of IDPs, Labour, Health and Social Affairs will be responsible for ensuring the provision of these services.
The medical support package will include immunization, treatment of tuberculosis and HIV/AIDS, maternal and child healthcare, infant screening, mental health services, diabetes management, dialysis, referral services, and emergency medical care.
