
Officers of the Migration Department of the Georgian Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA), in coordination with relevant units, have deported 63 foreign nationals from Georgia.
According to the Ministry, the total number of individuals expelled from the country since the beginning of the year has reached 1,302.
The recent deportations followed comprehensive measures carried out by the Migration Department and involved citizens of Türkiye, China, Russia, Nigeria, Turkmenistan, Jordan, Iraq, Pakistan, Egypt, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Burundi, Zambia, Saudi Arabia, and Sudan.
The MIA confirmed that, in line with current legislation, all deported individuals have been prohibited from re-entering Georgia.
The Migration Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs is responsible for combating illegal migration in Georgia. Its mandate includes identifying foreign nationals residing in the country without legal grounds and enforcing their removal through immigration controls and related measures.
