The import and price of chocolate in Georgia have increased. In particular, according to the data published by the National Statistics Office of Georgia (GEOSTAT), in 2022, the country purchased 21,307 tons of chocolate and other ready-made food products containing cocoa worth $77,827 million (about $3,652 per ton), and in 2023, it paid $88,800 million (about $3,999 per ton) for 22,204 tons.
It should be noted that last year the largest amount of chocolate was imported from Russia. In the North, in 2023, Georgia bought 9,315 tons of chocolate worth $29,284 million ($3,143 per ton on average). The top ten include Armenia, Ukraine, Germany, Poland, etc.

Poland - 1,675 tons worth $7,627 million ($4,553 per ton on average)
Belgium - 1,040 tons worth $4,987 million ($4,795 per ton on average)
The Netherlands - 741 tons worth $4.279 million ($5 774 per ton on average)
