Foreign ministers from Georgia, Armenia, and Azerbaijan are meeting in Tbilisi to lay the groundwork for a new framework aimed at fostering regional cooperation and stability.
The meeting was jointly initiated by Georgian Foreign Minister Maka Botchorishvili, Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan, and Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov, according to a statement from the Georgian Foreign Ministry.
"The meeting seeks to share the vision and ideas of the three countries on possible directions that will lay the foundation for trilateral cooperation," the ministry said.
The discussions aim to identify shared interests that could pave the way for practical and mutually beneficial collaboration among the three nations, with a broader goal of promoting peace, stability, and sustainable development across the South Caucasus.
Officials emphasized that this new trilateral initiative is not intended to replace any existing cooperation formats but to serve as an additional, constructive effort among neighboring countries.
