
Georgian Justice Minister Paata Salia met with Davor Bunoza, the Minister of Justice of Bosnia and Herzegovina, on the sidelines of the UN World Public Service Forum to discuss enhancing bilateral cooperation in the fields of law and human rights.
According to Georgia’s Ministry of Justice, the meeting focused on expanding collaboration between the two countries, with particular emphasis on justice reform, the rule of law, and human rights protection.
Minister Salia presented Georgia’s priorities in justice policy, highlighting the country's public service delivery model and recent reforms in the penitentiary system.
A key outcome of the meeting was the signing of a cooperation agreement between the two ministries. The agreement aims to facilitate knowledge exchange and strengthen ties in areas such as legal reform, digital transformation, and human rights practices.
Minister Salia also extended an official invitation to his Bosnian counterpart to attend the 2026 UN Public Services Forum, which will be hosted in Georgia.
