“The Georgian National Tourism Administration is hosting eight leading tour operators from Israel to showcase the country’s potential in business tourism,” - the Georgian National Tourism Administration said.

The Administration said the visiting group engaged with their Georgian counterparts in a B2B meeting to discuss potential cooperation, with the tour operators expressing interest in the infrastructure required to support business tourism.

The group will also visit the country’s eastern winemaking region of Kakheti to explore the village of Tsinandali and town of Kvareli, visit family wineries and hotels, and taste traditional Georgian wines and dishes.

The body noted visitors would also be hosted in the historical city of Mtskheta near capital Tbilisi, the village of Mukhrani in the central-eastern part of the country, and the western Black Sea city of Batumi.
