In the 7th month of 2022, Georgia bought 55,550 tons of wheat worth 19.1 million US dollars from Russia, and in the same period of the current year - 93,028 tons of wheat worth 26.5 million US dollars.
To visualize the effect of the regulation, in April and May 2023, 16,631 tons of wheat worth 5 million USD entered Georgia, and 35,334 tons of wheat and meslin worth 8.4 million USD - in June and July.
In April and May, Georgia bought 30,224 tons of flour worth 8.2 million US dollars, and in June and July - 21,707 tons of wheat and rye flour worth 5.2 million US dollars.
In all cases, Georgia's top importer is Russia.
