
EasyJet, the British multinational low-cost airline, has officially launched its inaugural flights from London and Milan to Tbilisi, utilizing an Airbus A320. The flights carried 175 and 172 passengers, respectively, marking a significant milestone in the airline's new route offerings.
The airline introduced direct flights from Geneva, Milan, and London, with the first Geneva-Tbilisi service taking off on March 31. EasyJet UK will operate the London-Tbilisi route, while EasyJet Europe Airline GmbH will offer services to Milan twice a week, on Tuesdays and Saturdays.
TAV Georgia's General Manager, Tea Zakaradze, highlighted the importance of these new connections, stating, “It is significant that Georgian citizens now have direct access to European capitals.”
Headquartered at London Luton Airport, EasyJet operates both domestic and international flights across 1,000 routes in 35 countries through its subsidiary airlines: EasyJet UK, EasyJet Switzerland, and EasyJet Europe.
