According to the CEC, all selected individuals meet legal and administrative standards, with 93.87%—or 22,631—having prior experience in at least one of the last nine general elections.
The CEC emphasized the professionalism of the new appointees, noting that many had participated in educational programs, including Election Administering Courses (18,677 participants), Election Development Schools (1,976 alumni), and Youth Camps (538 graduates).
The recruitment process was conducted transparently and competitively. From August 11–14, applicants submitted 24,314 applications for 24,408 available positions across 3,051 precinct commissions. This included 9,117 applicants for commission head roles and 15,197 for member positions. Remaining vacancies are now open for competition via the CEC’s online platform.
