For the first time, several joint panel discussions from Georgia were organized by Business Insider Georgia and the Georgian Economic Forum as part of the media and institutional partners of the 33rd Polish Economic Forum.
The high-ranking private and state sector representatives of Georgia and about 20 countries took part in the jointly organized panel discussions. The main issues considered in the panel discussions were related to the role of Georgia as a link between Europe and Asia, the special importance of Georgia from the point of view of the European economic and energy security, the economic reforms and infrastructural projects implemented in Georgia, the country's investment policy, the EU enlargement policy, etc. The Georgian Economy Forecasting Model (GEFM) introduced on the basis of the UN World Economic Forecasting Model (WEFM) was discussed.
Parallel to the panel discussions, bilateral and multilateral meetings and other thematic events were held within the framework of the forum. The Polish Economic Forum is, according to all authoritative estimates, the number one economic forum in Central and Eastern Europe, the largest and most important platform for discussing economic development prospects, modern challenges and overcoming crises.
The Polish Economic Forum has been bringing together political, economic and social leaders from more than 60 countries of the world for 30 years.
