Badagoni Winery is entering the markets of Canada and Turkey after the USA.
As Mari Giorgadze, the director of the company, told Radio Sivrce, Badagoni, which exports its wine to more than 35 countries, will from now on be represented in the markets of Canada and Turkey.
"We have entered the new markets - Turkey and Canada, which are very important and large ones. In addition, in those countries, where the Badagoni wines had been sold before, we have seen significant - 100%-growth, especially, in the Baltic countries. In the European part, in particular, I would highlight Poland with a 20%-increase, Germany with a 30%-increase, and Great Britain with a 36%-increase. As for the USA, where the Badagoni wines have been sold for more than 5 years, we have positive growth dynamics every year. The export rate of the Badagoni wine is increasing in the Asian countries as well," - the director of the company stated.
"We continue to actively grow and develop in the Asian countries, as well. Here, China, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan are especially important," - Mari Giorgadze told Radio Sivrce.
It is noteworthy that Badagoni is still the first exporting Georgian company, which is already represented in many countries of Europe and Asia and, which has received numerous awards at various international competitions.

The Badagoni wines won platinum and gold medals. The Badagoni premium wine Saperavi Reserve 2010 got the highest award - the platinum medal at the world's most prestigious international wine competition - Decanter 2024.

To be informed, the export of the Georgian wine to the European countries and the USA has increased significantly according to the data published by the National Wine Agency of Georgia.
During this period, Georgia exported 54.5 million litres of wine valued at USD 156.7 million to 61 countries worldwide. Compared to the same period last year, this marks a substantial increase of 26% in volume and 24% in revenue.
Export growth is notable in the following countries: Poland – 19% (3.1 million litres), USA – 53% (654 thousand litres), Germany – 34% (674 thousand litres), Great Britain – 28% (182.5 thousand litres), Canada – 110% (121.3 thousand litres), Turkey – 47% (239.2 thousand litres).
In addition to wine, Georgia exported 23.4 million litres of alcoholic beverages to 45 countries during the same period, marking a 55% increase compared to last year. Revenue from alcoholic beverage exports amounted to USD 132.8 million, reflecting a 59% increase.
