
In the third quarter of 2025, average monthly nominal earnings in Georgia increased by 10.4% year-on-year, or 214.9 GEL, reaching 2,271.6 GEL.
The highest salaries were recorded in information and communication (4,212.9 GEL), construction (3,682.9 GEL), financial and insurance activities (3,526.0 GEL), and mining and quarrying (3,154.3 GEL), with the fastest growth seen in mining and quarrying at 30.6%.
Average earnings for women stood at 1,797.4 GEL, while men earned 2,738.1 GEL. Annual growth amounted to 8.9% for women and 11.7% for men, with men earning more than women across all sectors.
In the business sector, average monthly earnings rose by 10.5% to 2,420.9 GEL, led by information and communication and construction. In the non-business and financial sector, earnings increased by 10.3% to 2,000.9 GEL, with financial and insurance activities paying the highest wages.
Tbilisi and Mtskheta-Mtianeti remained the leading regions in terms of average earnings.
