President Mikheil Kavelashvili, speaking at the Sameba (Holy Trinity) Cathedral, emphasized the importance of embracing one another with divine love, fostering societal unity, and addressing the artificially constructed divisions that contribute to polarization.
In his Christmas address, the President extended heartfelt wishes to the people of Georgia, Georgian emigrants, residents of occupied territories, and the Abkhazian and Ossetian communities.
“The Patriarch’s Epistle holds profound significance, as it not only highlights our societal challenges but also mirrors the reality we face. Rooted in love for humanity, it calls upon us to embody God’s love, strive for unity, and confront these fabricated divisions with compassion,” Kavelashvili stated.
He further affirmed, “This is the core of the Patriarch’s Christmas message. As President, I am committed to embodying these principles through my actions and working tirelessly to cultivate a society united in love.”
