
Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan welcomed Georgian President Mikheil Kavelashvili to Yerevan on April 28, highlighting the visit as a reaffirmation of the strong and enduring strategic partnership between the two neighboring countries.
In a social media post following their meeting, Pashinyan wrote: “Welcomed the Georgian President H.E. Mikheil Kavelashvili, on his official visit to Armenia. Had fruitful discussions, reaffirming our enduring strategic partnership. Explored ways to further strengthen Armenia-Georgia relations, deepen trade, economic cooperation and address regional developments.”
During the talks, the leaders focused on enhancing bilateral ties, promoting economic cooperation, and reviewing regional developments, particularly in light of ongoing efforts toward peace and stability in the South Caucasus.
President Kavelashvili’s delegation includes senior Georgian officials: Ketevan Kvinikadze, Head of the Presidential Administration; Lasha Darsalia, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs; Giorgi Volski, First Deputy Chairman of Parliament; and Members of Parliament Samvel Manukyan and Sumbat Kyureghiani.
