Air Arabia Abu Dhabi has increased its flight frequency to Tbilisi, now operating 8 flights per week, including twice-daily service on Thursdays, according to United Airports of Georgia. This move reflects rising travel demand between Georgia and the UAE, particularly during the peak summer season.
The airline, a subsidiary of Air Arabia Group, is also exploring the possibility of increasing Tbilisi frequencies to 10 flights per week, as part of a broader expansion that includes enhanced service to Baku, Azerbaijan.
“The increased flight frequencies to Baku and Tbilisi once again confirm our ongoing commitment to strengthening our regional network and providing greater comfort and flexibility for passengers,” said Adel Al Ali, CEO of Air Arabia Group.
“These two dynamic cities remain popular destinations for both UAE residents and international travelers. The updated schedules will further enhance tourism and travel connections while creating a more convenient and accessible travel experience.”
Air Arabia Abu Dhabi, the Middle East’s first low-cost carrier, has been active in the Georgian market since 2021, building on over a decade of successful operations by its parent airline on the Sharjah–Tbilisi–Sharjah route. The Abu Dhabi–Tbilisi route initially launched with just three weekly flights, but due to strong demand, service has steadily expanded.
In the first seven months of 2025, Air Arabia Abu Dhabi served approximately 50,000 passengers on the Abu Dhabi–Tbilisi–Abu Dhabi route, underscoring Georgia’s growing appeal as a travel destination for UAE residents and transit passengers alike.
