The wine of the leading Georgian winemaking company, Badagoni – Badagoni Alaverdi Tradition 2015 became the winner of the GREAT GOLD MEDAL at one of Europe's most prestigious and large-scale international wine competitions "International Wine & Spirits Awards 2022", which was held in the city of Vitoria, Spain.
Among them, Badagoni Alaverdi Tradition 2015 became the winner of the GREAT GOLD MEDAL.
Additionally, four more wines of Badagoni won gold medals: Badagoni Kakhetian Noble 2016 - Gold Medal, Badagoni Khikhvi Qvevri 2020 - Gold Medal, Badagoni Saperavi Qvevri Wine 2020 - Gold Medal, Badagoni Saperavi Reserve 2020 - Gold Medal.
Up to 2038 types of wine from 30 countries, including Argentina, Australia, Austria, Brazil, Canada, Chile, China, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Malta, Mexico, were presented at the event.
The competition "International Wine & Spirits Awards" is organized and developed by Catavinum in Vitoria (Spain).
The objectives of this competition are: to inform international consumers and professionals of about the quality of award winning wines and increase the production of quality wines.
