Former Georgian President Salome Zourabichvili addressed protesters, declaring that the current government “has already lost” and that its “days are numbered,” urging supporters to remain steadfast.
Zourabichvili said she believes a “final victory” is near, promising new elections and the creation of a new political order. She accused the authorities of “selling and alienating Georgian land,” citing recent deals with the United Arab Emirates as evidence of moral collapse.
Acknowledging the sacrifices of activists and families of detainees, Zourabichvili called for perseverance: “Nothing is easy when it comes to saving this country and preventing it from being handed over to Russia. Our victory is already here — soon there will be new elections, a new society, and a new political space for Georgia.”
