
Isabel Neto, Digital Development Manager for Europe and Central Asia at the World Bank, will participate as a speaker at the upcoming Tbilisi Silk Road Forum, set to take place on October 22–23. She will join the panel discussion titled “Digital Transformation: Future-Ready World”, scheduled for October 22.
Neto brings extensive experience in the digital development sector, with a focus on expanding digital access, infrastructure development, regulatory reform, and fostering public-private partnerships. In addition to her current role, she previously served as the World Bank’s Energy Portfolio Coordinator in the Pacific Region and has a background in the private sector.
Held under the patronage of the Prime Minister of Georgia, the Tbilisi Silk Road Forum will gather around 2,000 participants from over 50 countries, including high-level representatives from international organizations and the private sector. The forum has become a key platform for strengthening political and economic ties between Asia and Europe.
This year’s agenda includes panel discussions covering trade, transport, energy, investment, digital transformation, and other strategic sectors.
