World Bank Raises Georgia’s 2025 Growth Forecast to 7%

The World Bank has revised Georgia’s 2025 economic growth forecast upward from 5.5% to 7%, according to its latest economic review. Growth for 2026 is projected at 5.5%.
The report highlights Georgia’s strong outlook compared to its neighbors. Armenia’s growth forecast for 2025 was raised to 5.2%, while Azerbaijan’s was downgraded to 1.9% by the World Bank.
The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development and the Asian Development Bank have also aligned with the World Bank’s 7% forecast for Georgia, while the IMF projects an even higher growth rate of 7.2%.
