
Wizz Air has resumed direct regular flights from Kutaisi’s Davit Aghmashenebeli International Airport to Hamburg, Germany. The route will operate twice weekly, following successful negotiations with the airline, according to the Union of Georgian Airports.
With this addition, Kutaisi International Airport now offers direct regular flights to five cities in Germany. In total, four airlines operate direct connections between Georgia and eight German destinations.
As of 2024, 78,644 visitors have flown to Georgia, reflecting a steady increase in international connectivity.
Wizz Air is also set to resume flights to Madrid on April 29 and will launch a new route to Lyon on June 3. Currently, six airlines operate from Kutaisi International Airport, offering direct regular flights to 32 destinations across 18 countries—24 of which are in Europe.
